Wise Glass installs glass shower doors and enclosures in Dallas, TX. One in-house team handles your project from first measurement to final install. No subcontractors, no handoffs outside our company. Send photos and rough dimensions for a quote within 24 hours. Larger or more complex projects get an in-person measurement.
Tell us what you want to change, where the bathroom is within the property and whether the opening is finished. Add photos of the shower and any mirror locations. If building management has requirements, include them with the inquiry so the design and installation discussion can use the same complete set of project information.

A Dallas shower can take a single glass shower door, a door and fixed panel across a straight opening, or a full enclosure that turns a corner. Start with the shape of the opening, then decide how the door should move. A hinged door needs clear floor outside the shower. A sliding door stays inside the opening but narrows the entry.
Clear glass has a slight green tint that shows most along the edges. Low-iron glass reduces that tint and looks closer to colorless beside white tile. Frosted or textured glass adds privacy in a shared bathroom. For steam showers, Wise Glass provides the steam-rated glass enclosure only. The steam generator and controls are not part of our work.
Wise Glass installs custom frameless shower doors across Dallas, including replacements for old framed or sliding doors on tile that is staying. For a condo or managed building, send the management contact and any delivery or work-hour rules with the quote request, so the measurement and install visits can be booked around them.
Before the final measurement, every surface the glass touches (tile, curb, walls and floor) must be complete: tile set, grouted, caulked and fully cured, with waterproofing done. Your custom glass is typically installed within 7 to 10 days after the final measurement.
For an upper-floor bathroom or managed building, describe stairs, lifts and any limits on work access. If building management requires an appointment, documentation or a particular delivery route, collect that information before scheduling. These are questions about the property, not assumptions about every Dallas installation.
The panel layout still needs to follow the shower opening and suitable support. Discuss access alongside that design, especially if you are considering large fixed pieces. A photo of the bathroom cannot show every turn on the way to it. Keep the room details and access instructions together so the installation conversation covers the full route to the finished opening.
Clear frameless glass can leave more of the bathroom in view, but it does not create extra floor space. Start with the door movement and the usable entrance. A handle, cabinet pull or room door can create a conflict that is easy to miss when looking only at the closed enclosure.
Compare a hinged arrangement with a sliding option where appropriate, asking how each affects entry width. Then consider privacy and hardware appearance. If the existing tile is staying, have the opening and mounting areas assessed before the design is finalized. The most useful enclosure is the one that fits the room's working clearances as well as its style.
A mirror above a vanity may need to work between existing lights, outlets or cabinets. Identify those limits before settling its size. Check the reflection from the positions where the mirror will be used and compare a single wider piece with separate pieces if the vanity serves more than one person.
For a custom quote, provide a straight-on photograph and label each intended mirror. Mention any planned changes to the wall or lighting, and confirm who handles them. Final sizing should follow the completed boundaries. Keep the edge finish, mounting and access information with the dimensions so a visually simple piece is still described completely in the order.
Dallas publishes residential permit resources, including a remodel checklist and a general repair scope-of-work form. Those resources help organize questions about the broader renovation; they do not replace a decision about a particular property. For your glass inquiry, identify the address, unit if applicable and the room receiving the work. Mention building management requirements early if they apply. A house, condominium or other property can present different access arrangements, so the enclosure discussion should include the actual delivery route and work conditions rather than assume them from a Dallas address. The city of Dallas spans Dallas, Collin, Denton, Kaufman and Rockwall counties.

Ask building management about access, work hours and any documentation needed, then share the applicable requirements with the glass team. Mention lifts, stairs or a restricted delivery route early so those details can be reviewed before an installation date is arranged.
Not necessarily. The opening depends on the panel arrangement and how far the moving glass can travel. A sliding design may solve an outward-swing problem while changing the usable entry width. Compare the open position of each proposed layout against the bathroom fixtures, and choose based on the measured space rather than the door label.
Every enclosure is custom priced. The layout matters most: each angle and miter adds fabrication cost. Glass thickness, glass type and hardware finish also affect the price. Send photos and rough dimensions for a quote within 24 hours. Larger or more complex projects get an in-person measurement.
Your custom glass is typically installed within 7 to 10 days after the final measurement. Wait 24 hours before the first shower so the silicone can cure, and do not touch the silicone seals while they cure.
